In fact, xTimesheet is so easy to use that it requires no formal end-user training.

Cached data in the App can, sometimes, cause your Android device to be out of sync with the web interface. To fix this, you can open your phone's Settings app, then go to 'Apps' and scroll down to select the xTimesheet app. From there, you can select the 'Storage' option and select Clear Cache. If clearing the cache does not help, you may want to try logging out of the xTimesheet app and logging in again. If the issue still persists, you can try deleting the app from your device & re-installing it again from the Google Play Store. However, you would need to log in to your account again after re-installation.
To reset your password, click on the Reset password link, enter your registered email id and click on submit. Shortly after you click submit, a password reset link will be sent to your registered email id. Click on the link in the email, which will redirect you to a page where you can create a new password.
You can access xTimesheet anytime, as long as you have an Internet connection via any device running it on one of the browsers which support xTimesheet, with JavaScript enabled. Following browsers support xTimesheet- Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge. For the best experience, however, use an updated chrome browser.
Yes, it has a free version with all features in which you can have till 5 users enrolled to it. However, if you require more than 5 users, you need to switch to our paid version.
The xTimesheet Mobile app gives you the ability you to view record. enter time entry, approve your time, expenses and raise invoice from anywhere anytime.

Free trials

If you’re interested in a demo for XTimesheet, you’re more than welcome. We request you to register on our website, and fill out the registration form provided asking some basic information. Later, once we receive your submission details, we will activate your free trial. You will be notified via email.
Our Timesheet application is free to use for up to 5 users. Hence, feel free to use it for any period of time.
Yes, the complete data from your free version will be available.
No, once you switch to the paid version, you can add an unlimited number of Employees to your account.
No, xTimesheet is fully capable of scaling to support the largest teams. You can add as many projects as you'd like and users under them.

Security

Security and data privacy is of utmost importance to us. All customer data is safely stored at the xTimesheet Database, with ability to backup. For more details on this, feel free to read our privacy policy.
SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer, which provides secure connections for you and your employees while submitting data. While using SSL is more secure, the user will experience a slower xTimesheet.
No, xTimesheet comes with SSL. so, anyone using xTimesheet will be having SSL at his end.
xTimesheet has hierarchy of security roles. Following categories of permissions are assigned to different type of users:
  • Users with roles of Members can enter time and work details and add expenses against their assigned projects.
  • Managers can be configured with several approval permissions and run reports.
  • Administrators and company admins have full access to the system.

Functionally and feature

Yes, you need to specify an Activity in Tasks. You may then relate it to the relevant project. Next, you can make entry against it in xTimesheet entry module.
Approval Managers / Administrators will only be able to approve the hours of the members on xTimesheet.
To approve the timesheet, the Approval manager needs to check a checkbox available to him.
Due to the security role assigned to each user. As all users in any company do not share information equally it has been categorized by the nature of their work and position in the company.
For precautionary purposes, we back up the data several times throughout the day.
If there are people who no longer work with the organization, we recommend changing the status of their account to "Inactive". This will lead to all the time entries, made by them, to stay in the system and be included in reports, but they will no longer be able to log into xTimesheet. To mark Inactive Go to user’s menu, select the user you want to mark inactive and click on the trash button. The selected user will be marked inactive.

Pricing

The pricing page has all the details regarding xTimesheet subscription. We’ve placed a nominal fee for the pro version of our app service while there is a month-to-month subscription model as well.
You have to enable cookie to continue to sign in to our service. The session will not log in if cookies are disabled. Cookies are an integral part of the xTimesheet experience. For more information about cookies, please read our Privacy policy.
No, we don’t allow hosting the xTimesheet application on local servers.
Person(s) designated as the company administrator (s), manager(s) enter the information.
Yes, you will be able to import timesheet data as on an as-quoted basis.
xTimesheet app comes with predefined roles to make your life easier. One of them is the Approval Manager, who serves this purpose.
xTimesheet Invoicing feature allows you to create invoices in just a few minutes. It automatically fetches total approved project hours and convert to invoice along with all the other expenses that has occurred against that project.

Exporting Data/Accounting System Integration

Sadly, we’re still working on this. However, the xTimesheet product road map contains integration with MS CRM and SharePoint. This feature is already in development. For more queries on this, feel free to write to us on xTimesheet Support.
You can export report data to Excel or to PDF from any report. You can find the export excel and PDF icon.
xTimesheet export to QuickBooks is under development and is coming soon.
